We currently have a game going on, but one of our players has to leave the game, looking for someone to take his already very successful campaign over.

You will be playing Li-Halan,
I would just post a message on my first turn the Yiannis (the previous owner) has died in a random attack, and that you will be his successor. I would then state that all previous agreements are void, or need to be renegotiated. I know you are at war with house decados(leaper) and have been negotiating with me to remain neutral. if you owe anything to anyone they will hound you about it enjoy the game.
I am assuming that Swordsaint/Yiannis has sent his last turn along, and that i will be receiving mine shortly, i will then send the next turn to you.

hey, im playing house Hazat, and me and the last player had an agreement, he made an exchange for technology and told me that if I agreed to it, that a second tech would be sent in addition his next turn (idk why), I agreed and traded techs, but he just left the game :/

oh and additonally, I havent gotten the turn from purple, so... yea maybe we need to send him the turn straight from yellow?

As far as the Li Halan's relations with me so far (Hawkwood):

Li Halan approached me with an alliance, I accepted (and it still stands).

Li Halan asked me to help invade the Hazat, I declined, with various excuses about why my people cannot afford war at this time.

Li Halan asked me to protect Kish and attack any Decados ships, I declined, based on the notion it would be aiding him attack the Decados, who had done no wrong (I guess this is different than the Hazat, who are evil conquistadors for having the most cities) since his ships were more than capable of defending Kish.

Some ally I am That's where it stands, feel free to change your policy or negotiations with any players and reshape the Li Halan to your liking, don't feel limited to the history of what's happened. You could even say you usurped your war-like brother and had him executed or jailed (executed probably wouldn't make sense, since none of your nobles have died, unless a family member rose to replace him).

Guys, I've posted question on the different subforum, could you please help me with it?
Question is: what is the best way to make rebel officer/noble/aircraft retreat during the fight so that I can capture it later? I mean what force should I bring to the fight with them to make it happen?
