In the recent version units are requiring ressources (like wetware) long before the needed technologies are researched.
Three sources for supplying the wetware i found until now: agora, wetware plants prebuilt on some planets and "symbiot units".
In a testgame i got hunderts of wetware units from symbiot hunting on a planet infested by them.

IMO it is okay and good, but possible here are also other opinions that the input ressources should be related to the required techs for the units.

Which units are you referring to? There should be no units that use Wetware as an input resource until Wetware is researched.

If I have units that use Wetware, but don't require Wetware in their technology tree, then I've made a mistake somewhere.

Stealth interceptor (that for sure), oops, no better save, that is the only unit i can build now and i am before hostile enviroment. If i remember right the rebel officer is also available before wetware, not sure about that, and also the better airplanes.

Klaus:

Okay, the Stealth Interceptor, now the Jump Interceptor needed Wetware because it used Neumonic Armor. However, the Jump Interceptor uses different technologies than the Stealth Interceptor (that unit has been replaced by the Jump Interceptor) and so does not use Wetware and I forgot to change that when I changed the unit. So I'll go ahead and fix that.

As far as any other units, I haven't found any yet, but I'll keep looking to see if I've forgotten on any others.
